Cyber Security Manager

Welcome to DEKRA Arbeit. For a client of ours, we are currently looking for a Cyber Security Manager in Zürich.

Your Role:

• You will lead and enhance the organization’s cyber security strategy, policies, and frameworks

• Oversee risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability management to ensure robust protection of systems and data

• Coordinate incident response planning and lead the response to security breaches and threats

• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to embed security best practices across projects and operations

• Manage security awareness programs to educate employees and foster a security-first culture

• Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and other relevant standards

• Report regularly to senior management on risk posture, compliance status, and ongoing improvements

Your Profile:

• A degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field, with 7+ years of experience in IT security roles, including leadership responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, OWASP)

• Proven experience with security operations, incident response, and risk management

• Familiarity with SIEM solutions, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Fluency in English and German
