DEKRA and ADAC continue their partnership in the DTM

Long-standing cooperation

The DTM and DEKRA will continue to compete together in the future. The international expert organization and the ADAC as the owner of the DTM trademark rights have agreed on a long-term extension of the partnership. DEKRA will continue to be a technical partner of the DTM. The DEKRA experts will be responsible for technical scrutineering in the DTM and the DTM Classic. The same applies to the ADAC GT4 Germany.

  • Partnership in all professional ADAC circuit series

DEKRA also supports the aforementioned racing series as well as the ADAC GT Masters and the Prototype Cup Germany as an Official Partner. This makes DEKRA a partner of all professional ADAC circuit series; the DEKRA logo can be seen on the start numbers. “As a long-standing partner of the DTM and the ADAC, it was a matter of course for us to continue our 30-year partnership in the new era of the DTM under the umbrella of the ADAC,” says Guido Kutschera, DEKRA Germany CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of DEKRA Automobil GmbH. “We are very happy to contribute our many years of motorsport expertise - combined with technological innovation - to the racing events and look forward to continuing our collaboration.”

"DEKRA has been associated with the ADAC and its racing series for many years and has been a partner of the DTM for over 30 years. We are delighted to be opening a new chapter together with DEKRA in the DTM under the umbrella of the ADAC and to be expanding our partnership extensively. DEKRA's technical expertise is a guarantee for safe sport in the DTM," says ADAC Sports President Dr. Gerd Ennser.
