For one of our clients based in Zürich, we are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Analyst (m/w/d) to join a growing software team that develops standardized solutions for the Swiss insurance market.

In this role, you will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation. You will be responsible for analyzing data structures and migration processes, defining functional specifications, and ensuring that customer needs are translated into sustainable, high-quality software solutions. Over time, you will specialize in business processes for occupational benefits (BVG) and contribute to the continuous improvement of our client’s product suite.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze and document business processes and data flows in the insurance domain

  • Translate customer requirements into functional and technical specifications

  • Support and oversee data migration from existing to standardized solutions

  • Collaborate closely with software developers and project teams to ensure successful implementation

  • Contribute to product improvements and optimization of standard solutions

  • Act as a contact point between clients, technical teams, and management

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar function within IT or insurance

  • Strong understanding of data structures, data flows, and data migration

  • Analytical mindset and the ability to quickly understand complex systems and processes

  • Interest in the Swiss insurance market, ideally with some knowledge of BVG (occupational benefits)

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills in German (C1) and English

What We Offer

  • A dynamic and collaborative environment within a successful Swiss software company

  • Hybrid work model – up to 2 days home office per week

  • 40-hour work week and 5 weeks of vacation

  • Transparent salary structure and open company culture

  • Strong support for training and professional development
