We are seeking a proactive and strategic Category Manager to join our client’s commercial team in Wichtrach. In this role, you’ll drive assortment strategy, strengthen supplier partnerships, and optimize purchasing processes across the organization.
What You’ll Do

Define and develop product assortments based on market and customer needs

Manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and improve sourcing performance

Implement pricing strategies and monitor margin targets

Maintain accurate master data and ensure up-to-date pricing

Coordinate promotions and support sales through strategic assortment planning
What You Bring

Commercial or construction-related background with advanced business training

Several years of experience in category management, procurement, or sales

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Confident use of ERP systems and Excel; VBA or Access is a plus

Fluency in German is mandatory, written and spoken
