We are supporting our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, in their search for an experienced IT Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading complex IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Do
Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles for critical IT initiatives, using both Agile and traditional methodologies.
Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, and ensure clear communication of progress to all stakeholders.
Coordinate internal resources, third parties, and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Ensure that all projects are delivered against defined success criteria and business objectives.
What You Bring
A university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
Proven track record (5+ years) in managing IT projects, ideally within the financial services or a highly regulated industry.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, PMI, PRINCE2).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical teams and business leaders.
Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
