We are supporting our client in Basel in the search for a skilled Network Engineer to join their dynamic IT team. In this role, you will design, implement, and operate secure and modern network architectures tailored to the needs of a leading international organization.
What You’ll Do
Design and build secure and scalable network and security architectures
Maintain and further develop existing network and security infrastructures
Install and configure active network components
Act as a point of contact for network-related matters and handle 3rd level troubleshooting (DDI, LAN, WLAN, WAN, and Datacenter)
Develop, document, and implement technical concepts and policies
Support international projects through consulting, planning, and implementation of networking and security solutions
What You Bring
Completed vocational training or higher education in IT (FH or equivalent experience)
Strong practical experience in networking (ideally CCNA level or higher)
Familiarity with products from Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto is a plus
Strong motivation to continuously develop your networking expertise and pursue certifications
Solid knowledge in switching, routing, DDI, LAN/WAN, and data center infrastructures
Fluent in German (mandatory) and good written and spoken English skills
