We are supporting a client of ours in the Basel region in the search for a Rust Software Engineer (m/w/d).
Do you enjoy working close to the metal and solving complex engineering problems? Our client is seeking a Rust developer who brings deep technical knowledge and a proactive mindset to a collaborative development environment.
You’ll be involved in designing robust backend systems and contributing to the evolution of a secure and scalable software architecture.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop backend services and system-level modules using Rust
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Work closely with product teams to align technical solutions with business needs
- Contribute to continuous improvement and agile development practices
Your Profile
- Professional experience with Rust in production environments
- Strong background in backend development and systems architecture
- Experience with networking protocols, databases, and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Fluency in German is mandatory
- Solid English communication skills
