We are supporting our client in Basel in the search for a Senior Frontend Engineer (m/w/d) to join a cross-functional development team focused on building intuitive and high-performance web applications for scientific and industrial domains.

What You’ll Do
Design and implement sophisticated frontend solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks
Collaborate with backend developers, UX designers, and domain experts to deliver seamless user experiences
Translate complex data and workflows into intuitive UI components
Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and peer reviews
Optimize applications for performance and usability in demanding environments
Contribute to architectural decisions and frontend strategy
Support knowledge sharing and mentor junior team members
What You Bring
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in frontend development, ideally in scientific or industrial settings
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue
Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) is a plus
Familiarity with testing tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows
Understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and browser performance
Fluency in German (mandatory) and good English skills
