We are supporting a client of ours in the Zurich region in the search for a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer (m/w/d)
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge financial software solutions within a global consultancy environment. You’ll combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications for leading financial institutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the development and architecture of full-stack Java applications for financial services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, designers, and data scientists
- Apply advanced Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST/SOAP) to build robust solutions
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and IT security standards
- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in software engineering
- Design cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Implement modern software architectures (microservices, containerization, serverless)
- Support agile delivery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack Java development, ideally in financial services or consulting
- Strong command of Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, JPA, REST APIs)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with software architecture and design patterns
- Agile mindset and consulting experience is a plus
- Fluency in German is mandatory
- Excellent English skills; French is a plus
