We are supporting a client of ours in the Zurich region in the search for a Senior Solution Engineer (m/w/d)
In this role, you will help customers in the manufacturing industry transform how they engage with their clients using Salesforce. As a trusted technical advisor, you’ll design tailored solutions, demonstrate business value, and support digital transformation initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to understand customer needs and propose tailored Salesforce solutions
- Build and deliver impactful product demonstrations, technical deep-dives, and engaging presentations
- Translate complex technology into clear business value for both IT and business audiences
- Manage and support proofs of concept (POCs)
- Align Salesforce solutions with customers’ digital and operational priorities
- Stay current with Salesforce’s evolving product portfolio, including Data Cloud, AI, and automation
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to share customer feedback
- Work autonomously in a fast-changing environment
Your Profile
- Excellent communicator, confident in presenting to customers and large audiences
- Technically curious, with understanding of system integrations, APIs, and basic coding (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Apex)
- Structured, self-organized, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Strong interest in AI, automation, or digital transformation
- Team-oriented, proactive, and creative problem solver
- Fluent in English and German; French is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in technical presales, solution engineering, or consulting
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or other enterprise SaaS platforms (certifications are a plus)
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture, data, or integration concepts
- Background or strong interest in the manufacturing industry
- Understanding of or curiosity about AI and automation technologies
