Team Leader Product Development

On behalf of one of our clients in Chur, we are looking for a dedicated Team Leader Product Development to lead innovative projects in the fields of electronics, lighting, and services. In this role, you will manage an interdisciplinary team and guide the entire product development cycle from concept to start of production.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new products in the business areas of Electronics & Lighting as well as Services

• Lead an interdisciplinary development team (electronics, optics, mechanics)

• Manage feasibility studies and customer projects from kick-off to SOP

• Support business acquisition from customer requests (RFQ) to project award

• Define product design for new, complex assemblies, including lighting solutions

• Prepare technical foundations and pre-developments, including patent applications

• Support series production for the relevant product groups

• Continuously improve development processes, methods, and tools

• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams across departments

What You Bring

• University degree (ETH/FH) in Electrical Engineering, Optics, or Mechatronics, with practical experience and proven track record

• Several years of experience in mechatronic product development, ideally with an optical focus

• Proven experience in leading teams and/or projects

• Knowledge of automotive standards or a comparable industry is an advantage

• Entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to build and innovate

• Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style

• Excellent English skills (spoken and written); German is required
