Deputy Team Leader Production

We are looking for a hands-on and organized Deputy Team Leader to support production operations at a manufacturing site near Thun. In this role, you will co-lead a section of the production floor, working closely with the Team Leader to ensure efficient and high-quality output across various manufacturing processes.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and monitor the timely, quality-compliant execution of production orders

• Handle material bookings and daily KPI reporting in the ERP system

• Organize and ensure availability of production materials and consumables

• Create clear and safety-compliant work instructions

• Support the Team Leader in daily operations and act as deputy in their absence

• Be a go-to person for the team on operational and technical questions

• Participate actively in both manual and semi-automated production processes

• Assist with feasibility assessments and process optimization initiatives

• Monitor and document production and inspection standards

What You Bring

• Completed vocational training in a technical or industrial field

• Previous experience in production environments; leadership experience is a plus

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Shopfloor Management) is an advantage

• Confident user of MS Office and ERP systems

• Very good German skills (C1); English is a plus

• Flexibility and mobility – the site is not reachable by public transport
