Health & Safety Officer

We’re seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to support workplace safety and regulatory compliance at our client’s pharmaceutical plant in Basel. You’ll ensure best practices are followed while promoting a strong safety culture.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor safety practices and conduct regular site inspections

• Implement health and safety policies aligned with industry standards

• Lead risk assessments and update safety protocols

• Train employees on EHS procedures and emergency measures

• Manage audits, incident reporting, and follow-up actions

What You Bring

• Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety or Engineering

• 5–8 years in an EHS role within manufacturing, preferably pharma

• Strong knowledge of Swiss safety laws and GMP requirements

• Confidence in conducting training and engaging stakeholders

• Fluent in German; English required for documentation
