Welcome to DEKRA Arbeit. For one of our clients based in Geneva, we are currently seeking a System Engineer.
Your Role:

Design, configure, and maintain the client’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and virtualization platforms

Collaborate with IT architects and project managers to deliver secure and scalable system solutions

Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability
-
Lead initiatives to automate repetitive tasks and optimize system deployment processes

Support backup strategies and disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing

Maintain up-to-date system documentation and provide technical support and guidance to internal teams
Your Profile:
-
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with 3–6 years of professional experience in a similar position

Strong expertise in Windows and/or Linux server environments, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and networking concepts

Hands-on experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible)

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a strong asset

Knowledge of system monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

Fluency in French and English is required
